Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Ayantra mobile application ("App") or any related services ("Services") operated by Ayantra ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

Ayantra is an AI-powered self-reflection and mental clarity companion designed to help people navigate life's difficult phases. When things feel overwhelming, Ayantra helps users pause, understand what they are going through, reflect on what is within their control, and identify practical ways to move forward with greater clarity and calm. Rooted in Stoic principles and enriched by a cosmic lens, Ayantra brings together two ancient systems of understanding to offer a personalized way to reflect on life's challenges. Rather than simply providing answers, Ayantra helps users understand their situation, look at it from different perspectives, reflect on what they can influence, and discover practical next steps. The App is designed to help turn moments of uncertainty and difficulty into opportunities for greater clarity, perspective, and inner calm.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Ayantra.
• By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe that the user does not meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable Indian or international laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, its systems, servers, or related services.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying technology of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Use the App to transmit, upload, or distribute harmful, offensive, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful content.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use automated tools, including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar technologies, to access or extract data from the App without our prior written authorization.
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the security, integrity, availability, or performance of the App or its services.
• Attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or exploit any security, access-control, AI, or memory-related features of the App.
• Use the App to intentionally generate, distribute, or facilitate harmful or unlawful content.
• Use the App for purposes that could reasonably cause harm to yourself or another person.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the App where we reasonably believe that these Terms have been violated.

• All content and materials available through the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, illustrations, logos, designs, software, algorithms, interfaces, trademarks, and underlying technology, are owned by or licensed to Ayantra and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, lease, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the App or its content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
• You retain ownership of information and content that you independently provide to the App, subject to the rights and licenses necessary for Ayantra to operate and provide the Services as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations you voluntarily provide to Ayantra may be used by us to improve our products and services without any obligation to compensate you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
• Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, protect, and delete personal information, including information associated with your conversations and AI memory.
• By using the App, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• Ayantra may rely on third-party services, technologies, platforms, or infrastructure to operate certain aspects of the App.
• These third-party services may include, for example, authentication, hosting, analytics, artificial intelligence, payment processing, communications, or other technical services.
• Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
• Ayantra is not responsible for the independent practices, availability, content, or policies of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

• We aim to keep Ayantra available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee that the App or Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The App may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party service interruptions, network problems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict any part of the App or its features at any time where reasonably necessary.

You may stop using Ayantra and delete your account at any time through the account-deletion process described above.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you:

• Violate these Terms;
• Misuse the App or its services;
• Engage in conduct that may harm Ayantra, other users, or third parties; or
• Use the App in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Upon termination or account deletion, your right to use the App will cease.
Information associated with your account, including AI memory, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-retention requirements.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Ayantra will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
• Ayantra will not be responsible for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your interpretation or use of AI-generated content, self-reflection guidance, or other information provided through the App.
• Ayantra does not warrant that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ayantra's total aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid to Ayantra, if any, during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ayantra, its directors, employees, representatives, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the App;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations; or
• Your violation of the rights of any third party.

• We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our Services, applicable laws, or our business practices.
• When we make material changes, we may notify you through the App, by email, or through another appropriate communication method.
• The updated Terms will become effective from the date specified in the updated Terms.
• Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App should first be brought to our attention through written notice at help@ayantra.ai so that the parties may attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
• If the matter is not resolved within 30 days of receiving written notice, the dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, subject to applicable law.
